Shaylen Sounds It Out

On the way home from the beach on Saturday night we heard Shaylen slowly say, "S-A-N-D. Sand!"

I asked Janelle in the back seat whether she was looking at anything and reading off the letters and she confirmed that she was not.

Maybe she was thinking of her time at the beach. Maybe she was feeling the sand in her water shoes. Whatever it was, Shaylen clearly was thinking about sand and decided to slowly sound it out and spell it out loud for all of us to hear.
