Rain, Drizzle, Pour...It's All Wet

Anyone watching the weather reports will know that we have been getting rain. The kids have been itching to go outside. And because of that, I do hope for a sunny day soon; possibly Wednesday. Their faces look so pitiful as they look out the patio door at the rain in dispair!

Yesterday we had some sort of precipitation at all points during the day. It either came in the form of rain, drizzle or downpour. I have the inflatable swimming pool upside down on the deck in order to dry out, but it is now full of rain. The kids see it and want to go swimming.

In the meantime, this weather is perfect for reading, coloring, making snakes out of PlayDoh, rolling balls to each other on the kitchen floor and snuggles!

Today is supposed to be partly cloudy with some showers in the afternoon. Maybe we'll be able to get out there before things get wet once again, but I'm not breathing a word of this to the twins.
