We LOVE having guests into our home. It makes it even better when the guests are our good friends Jason and Joni and their son, Enzo, and new daughter, Julia. This was the first time that Marshall and Shaylen got to see Julia and they were so excited.
On Friday, Taigen had a youth activity (Sea Dogs game) and Jason joined him there, so the girls all got to hang out together and chase after kiddos.Saturday was a beautiful day! Taigen, Jason and Mike Bowman had a 7 a.m. tee time. Janelle came over and took the kids outside while I cleaned up the inside breakfast mess and Joni took care of Julia. Marshall, Shaylen and Enzo had such a great time together outside.
At two o'clock, we headed over to the church for the reception of Jarod and Heather (Bowman) Spencer. She looked absolutely stunning! Because of the timing of this, the kids didn't get their nap and were a bit tired. The adults had a good time though!
We came home and putzed around the house for a bit and got ready for the "Big Excursion" to the beach. This was the one thing that Enzo had wanted to do when he came up to Maine. "Marshall! Shaylen! BEACH!" is what he would always say to Joni.
We got to the beach shortly before six and had a great time. Shaylen enjoyed playing in the water and Marshall enjoyed digging in the sand. We got some really great photos!
It was a long Saturday, but so full of fun and great memories.
