I made chocolate chip cookies for the school recital last night. There were quite a few left over and I had wrapped them up and left them on the counter. After dinner tonight, Taigen grabbed the cookies and placed them on the table. The kids shouted with glee, "COOKIES!!!"
Taigen handed a cookie to each of the kids and grabbed one for himself. Shaylen looked at him out of the corner of her eye and said, "Do not eat all of the cookies, Daddy!"
Kids are a good judge of character.
