Brennen has been serving in Fitchburg, Mass. at Beth Eden Baptist Church as assistant pastor now for, I think, over two years. We have been thrilled that Brennen was able to get this milestone under his belt and Taigen was excited to be a part of his ordination service on this Sunday morning.
When the alarm clock went off early this morning, we certainly didn't
want to get out of bed, and neither did the kids, but we wouldn't miss this for anything. Brennen and Taigen have been friends for, well, forever, it seems. We were so honored that Brennen had made the trip from Chicago for Taigen's ordination the first year we were in Maine.
We made good time traveling down to Fitchburg and arrived in good time to collect our thoughts and find out what was going on that morning.
It was a great service. The music was phenominal and the challenges from the various pastors were so very good.
After church we were able to go with Brennen and Lydia and their extended family to a restaurant for lunch. It was so good to sit down with them again (and Mr. and Mrs. Jorgensen) and just chat.
We wouldn't have missed it for the world. Congratulations Brennen!
