The weather was perfect this past Saturday for our annual HBC Labor Day weekend picnic. About 55 of our church folks made it out. It was such a beautiful, relaxing day. It started off warm and humid, but as the day progressed, a nice breeze made it's way through our neighborhood and allowed for things to be comfortable.
There was lots of laughter and conversation and I'm sure quite a bit of smack-talking going on over by the horseshoe pits! We were especially thankful to have Sonny home for a two-week furlough from Afghanistan. Many of you have been praying for him since he left in January. It was great to see him!We are so thankful for our church family and the sweet time with them this past weekend.
