Marshall discovered a chord this week and has been working on this song ever since. When I asked him last night what the title of the story was, he said it was called "God's Creation" and proceeded to tell me about what sound was which day of creation. God's creation story has been on his mind because that is what we've been learning about during Bible class. We just finished creating a six-petaled flower with each petal representing a day of creation. It sounds kindof pretty for a four and a half year old who has never had a lesson.

...a Mozart in the making!
Well, he's not Mozart, but this kid does have a sense of pitch. Tonight on the ride home he started humming the background music to the Beatrix Potter story "The Tailor of Gloucester". We haven't listened to that in a long time. It truly amazed me. He also sings the theme music to our Little Women audio book. The kid always has some music in his head! Just like his mama.
