Missionaries to Mexico

Following Janelle and Jessica's visit, we prepared for more special guests: the Rodriguezes. They were coming to our church Sunday morning to present their burden for Mexico. Even though they were only going to be in our church on Sunday morning, they would be staying with us for two nights.

The kids and Taigen helped me prepare for their arrival. They were originally supposed to arrive shortly after 6, but because of an unfortunate wrong turn taken near New York, they didn't get to the church until almost 7:30 and at our home until after 8:30. Marshall and Shaylen were disappointed that they had to go to bed instead of getting to play hours on end with their new friend. (The Rodriguezes have two children, one is 3 and the other is 9 months old.)

It was really nice to get to know them and we especially enjoyed our very casual time of talking with them on Monday morning before they left. The Rodriguezes are hopefully headed to Mexico sometime this late spring.
