Wednesday's plans included a trip to the Wild Animal Sanctuary. This is a somber place to visit really because of the unimaginable cruelty some people have on wild cats, bears and even wolves. Sure, a baby tiger is sure cute, but you don't keep it in a cage in the backseat of your car! 
We saw all kinds of animals and read through some of their stories as we walked through the place. The kids enjoyed watching the animals swim and play.After the sanctuary, we went to a local park and had a windy picnic. After lunch was devoured, the kids decided to go on the Hurl-A-Whirl, uh...I mean the Merry-Go-Round. Just watching them made me feel ill to my stomach. I hated those things in elementary school! However, Marshall and Shaylen loved it!
