I know some of you have been on pins and needles, dying to know how this week's volleyball game turned out. As you know, we are in the playoffs for the first time. How exciting for our team! Unfortunately, sickness invaded our team this week and Wendy Maskell (from our church and near neighbor) was out for the night. Our 7th team member is pregnant and cannot play anymore, so we were left with a team of five. All this to say, we got beaten last night...badly. The other team came in ready to win and clobbered us in two consecutive games. It was embarrasing.
All is not lost however. We have to win our next game which will take place in two weeks. We have one week off to recover, both physically and mentally and then match up on April 24th. Hopefully we can do better than we did last night. Ouch!
