Happy Birthday to Taigen!

I had to post a birthday picture of Taigen at his celebration last weekend. We didn't have a big party, just some time as a family in the afternoon. We went to a local putt-putt place and the kids enjoyed trying their hand at it. We had a wonderful time and the kids fell in love with it immediately. After our 18 holes (Taigen clobbered us), we splurged and bought $2 worth of tokens so that the kids could also try skee ball. That was hilarious to watch, but they did well enough to earn some small prizes.

Taigen requested a dinner of Chicken Waikiki Beach (sweet and sour chicken with sticky white rice) and one of his favorite desserts: chocolate cake with a double layer frosting: peanut butter and then chocolate. It is very rich and a special treat. It's something his mom used to make for him all the time. I'm so thankful for Taigen's life. He is such a great husband and father, not to mention a wonderful pastor!
