Today I was helping Shaylen pick up some toys in the living room before she headed off downstairs to the basement. After we were all done, I told her, "Thank you, Peanut, for obeying. I love you!"
A moment later she touched my cheek and said, "Mommy, you know what? I love you too." She said it so tenderly and softly that it made me cry. What a sweetie!
Spring has started one day early in my heart.
